The study of the Law was truly a reinvigorating experience for me. There is so much thoughtful effort that goes into most legal decisions, even when the outcome was not one that I would have preferred. It is a special thing for me to be able to hold such a high degree of respect for even those I strongly disagree with, when I can understand their clear well argued position. Such an outlook is often derided as naïve idealism. However there are numerous attorneys and jurists I have had the honor of knowing or learning about over the years who have held such views throughout their long and successful careers. I hope to be viewed in the same way.
The law belongs to all of us, it our civilized contract with each other to solve our dispute in the best way possible. My hope is to help my clients understand what is involved in their legal question. Often there is much more at play than is first understood. By cultivating such an understanding, even an appreciation for the other side's point of view if applicable, long, drawn out, expensive legal fees may be avoided, and better solutions are arrived at.
My practice is one where I prefer working with only a few clients actively at any one time, giving them the very best attention and results I am able. Performing at or above their expectations. Law practices covering many other areas of the law like family law, bankruptcy, immigration, and criminal law are not among the areas of the law that I believe I would best serve my clients. However, having been involved in many facets of the Real Estate Industry for decades has provided me with a great understanding of the practice of the law here.
My practice area of Real Estate Law is also closely associated with Estate Planning, a practice that is normally better understood as Wills & Trusts. Because Real Estate plays such an important role in the estates of most people, and having had a front row seat of estates administered with and without proper estate planning in the sale of their homes, I feel well qualified to work with my clients here too.
